We couldn't afford a new super duper VW camper so have instead purchased a coach built 1980s Cotswold Celeste Caravan instead! We bought it two weeks ago and have since renovated it - painted the walls and ceiling white, made Orla Kiely fabric curtains, added cushions, patchwork quilt, rubber vinyl floor and a new loo!
We're also going to add new formica to the existing brown table. It's been fun and we can't wait to tour around Cornwall and the beautiful coastline here.

Looks great!! I would also love to get the change ones to decorate a caravan totally in my own style. Maybe one day?

Oh wow, absolutely wonderful!!!!
Looks brilliant, well of course it does with your great style!
We have a vw campervan (which we love) but I find myself gazing adoringly at caravans... grass is always greener and all that...
Wow, I'm deeply impressed! Camping can be nothing but fun this summer for you.
I dream of bying an old caravan. What a cool project.
Hi! Love the caravan! Love Cornwall too :) We're doing up our VW Campervan at the moment and I'm hoping to design some retro graphics for over the fridge unit. Bring on the summer glamping!
a great caravan, you will have a ball staying in it..
Jane it looks so lovely! You'll have to give me a grand tour :) xxx
that is immense! love the caravan and the way you have decorated it!
Jane it FAB !
This is lovely and very inspiring and a wise choice! We spent a week in one of the newer (Brazilian) versions of the VW campervans (luckily in the week of sunshine recently) and although we enjoyed the cuteness and joy on people's faces as we chugged around seaside towns, I was almost delirious with lack of sleep when I got home. The fold down bed is very hard and is just like sleeping on a car seat, just a bit bigger! And there wasn't really room for a family to sit around the table in the chilly evenings, it was more like sitting side by side in a bus. I love VWs, but this test-run has made me rethink the layout and a caravan looks far more comfy, and you've proved it can be just as stylish!
Such a great caravan renovation. I love your use of colour through out the caravan. Glad you got a caravan called a celeste! Does it actually have a name?
Hope your having fun in your lovely caravan we did something similar with a 1980 Monza and we love it!
