I re-discovered a box full of selvedge strips that I'd saved. (Don't ask why - I'm a bit of a geek in this way!) I think they look quite interesting lined up in rows - I might frame them. Any other ideas welcome!

Mmmm I love them - I've just made a notebook cover blogged here http://mary.emmens.co.uk/2011/06/12/and-in-my-spare-time/ I think you can do anything with them, just time consuming to sew them together.
