Alexander Girard Hand and Dove wooden box

I love the simple artwork of Alexander Girard and was very excited when I found they'd launched his 1971 design 'Hand and Dove' as gift wrap. I was going to frame it but then found a ply box to cover instead.

I love it! I need a new box-file for my receipts - you've inspired me to custom make my own now!

What a beautiful print, I love it!
It is very folksy and reminiscent of works by Sanna Annuka.

The wrapping paper was bought in a lovely gift shop in Ashburton, Devon.
I think it was £1 or £1.50
I used normal PVA glue spread with a brush.
