I've just collected a silver ring I commissioned someone to make with some original 50s patterned formica that I bought recently. Am really pleased with result and am going to save up to have a bright red one made too!

Boot sale lucky chair find

I was at Brighton boot sale again early this morning and knew I'd find something heavy so I parked as near as I could! Here it is - an orange 60s 70s chair! (cushion is by Terence Conran) When I got home I unscrewed the base to find the maker - it's by Eugen Schmidt from Germany. I was so pleased it wasn't IKEA!!

Also picked up a whole box of 60s architecture magazines which I love!
