My mum came over today and brought some of my books from when I was a child. This was another favourite illustrated by Joan Hickson - Joe and the nursery school. (1972)

Dick Bruna Miffy mad

I'm dick Bruna's biggest fan and have been lucky to find vintage Miffy fabric to make bags and interesting stamps for framing. I also collect all the original Miffy children's books.

Vintage child's 60s top

I love going to Brighton boot fair every Sunday and always find something of interest. Last Sunday I picked up some vintage French children's clothes from a stall that sells everything from France. Here's a snap shot of a top I bought my one year old daughter. The flower is appliqued and it has buttons up the back.The wooden coat hanger was also a boot sale lucky find.

60s coasters and sweet peas

My sweet peas are now in flower so I put some in my child's tea set cup. These 60's coasters were my lucky find at today's Brighton boot fair.
