*Was pleased to see Clothkits appear in the new sewing magazine 'Sew Hip' (Feb 2009 issue). It featured clothes and dolls that I designed. Kay's article was brilliant!
These are a few purses from my new range - screen printed butterflies with vintage 60's spotted fabric on the reverse. They are available from my site.
This is one of my latest screen prints that I'm now selling on my website. I've spent Christmas working on a new 50's range of prints due to be printed soon.
I've a passion for retro lamps - I often buy them at the boot sale and my partner re-wires them. I found this shade which I covered in some vintage children's fabric.
I've recently made up the Clothkits Eskimo doll that I designed to see what it looks like. She can now join the other collection of Clothkits dolls that I designed a year ago.
I designed some Happy Lion dungarees for children last year and have since been attracted to more vintage Lion items! (a bucket bought from the States and a metal 60s coaster bought in Brighton)
I love vintage children's book illustrations and am starting to collect the work of Alain Gree. I love his colours and quirkiness. I've also come across the Daniel and Valerie french books.
